Operating today as Vinland Electrical, our roots go deep into the soil of Newfoundland and Labrador. Our story began generations ago, when our founder’s great-grandfather brought electricity to St. John’s in the era of knob-and-tube. Today, we bridge the gap between that history and the modern era, upgrading those early systems to meet 21st-century standards.

Founded as Vinland Solas, our identity is built on two pillars. “Vinland” represents our spirit of exploration and willingness to tackle any challenge, remote or urban. “Solas,” the Gaelic word for light, remains the heartbeat of our mission: to bring clarity, safety, and power to our community.
